Spring on the Farm

Spring on the Farm

Our Seasons Collection of perfumes was inspired by life on our 64-acre farm in Prince Edward County.

In the spring, I could not wait for the lilacs to come out (usually May 24 weekend), for the apple blossoms to open, and for the tulips to come popping up through the frosty ground.

Emily spent many Easters and vacations there visiting her grandparents and exploring the forest. This is our way of sharing Spring on the farm with you.

The top note in our Spring Botanical Perfume is Grapefruit, which is then blended with Oak Moss and Geranium to create a mysterious, fresh, and grounding aroma to waken the senses.

Grapefruit is known to uplift our mood and rejuvenate the spirit and provides a wave of refreshing citrus scent that embodies both sweet and bitter. So complex, just like spring!

One moment it’s a cold rainy, windy night making the maple sap run, and the next thing you know it’s a glorious April day and you feel the warmth of the Spring sun on you. Sweet and bitter all wrapped into one.

What does Spring mean to you? What connects you to the rebirth of the growing season? Is the spring air inviting you outside after a long winter? Longer days of sunlight? Spring cleaning – lol? The earth seems to be reborn every Spring… let’s all have our own “rebirth.”
